Eagles vs. Cowboys score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for 'Sunday Night Football' showdown - CBS Sports

PHILADELPHIA -- At halftime of "Sunday Night Football," the Philadelphia Eagles are taking it to the division rival Dallas Cowboys. Philly leads Dallas 20-3 at the break, and is dominating the game on both sides of the ball.

The two teams were scoreless at the end of the first quarter, but a crucial penalty by the Dallas defense on the final play of that period led to the Eagles' first touchdown of the game -- and the floodgates opened from there. Cooper Rush threw his first and second interceptions of the season, each on a pass he forced into coverage to a receiver that was not nearly open. He completed only 5 of 16 passes for 36 yards and the two picks in the first half.

Meanwhile, the Eagles capitalized on Dallas miscues on three consecutive possessions. They responded to Rush's two interceptions with a touchdown (by A.J. Brown on an RPO where he broke free into the flat) and a field goal, and they added another field goal after Dallas turned the ball over on downs following a missed opportunity by Mike McCarthy to challenge the spot on a CeeDee Lamb catch that should have given Dallas a new set of downs.

Dallas' only score came on its final drive of the half, on which it benefited from a 62-yard kick return by KaVontae Turpin. The Cowboys had a chance to turn that drive into a touchdown, but Noah Brown landed just outside the back of the end zone on what would have been a miraculous catch on a fade route, and they eventually settled for a field goal.

Will the Eagles close it out and move to 6-0, or will Rush and Co. stage another late-game comeback? We'll find out soon enough. In the meantime, keep it locked on our live blog throughout the rest of the evening as we update you with stats, scores, and highlights.
