We've got a good one on our hands in Tallahassee, Florida, as No. 9 Notre Dame and Florida State are tied 7-7 after one quarter. The Fighting Irish came out the gates hot with two big pass plays to tight end Michael Mayer on the first possession of the game to take a 7-0 lead.
Florida State couldn't match the intensity. With Jordan Travis starting at quarterback ahead of UCF transfer McKenzie Milton, The offensive line struggled -- an all too familiar tale -- on its first few possessions. Then Jashaun Corbin broke a few tackles and broke loose for an 89-yard touchdown to tie it up. There's still three quarters to go, but even if only one of these teams is ranked in the top 10, it feels like anybody's game.
