September is what could be what makes or breaks a team’s season. Getting by that tough matchup or two, or falling, has a huge impact on what a team will do for the remainder of the year. And there are plenty of situations like that, when you look at the September each team in the Big Ten Conference will face this season.
Within the conference, Penn State opens up at Wisconsin and hosts Auburn later in the month. Indiana will face two top-20 teams in Iowa and Cincinnati. Ohio State welcomes preseason-top-10 Oregon in the second week of the season. Michigan faces Washington for a primetime game that same week. September is absolutely loaded within the conference.
